PURCELL NAMED TO AHL ALL-ROOKIE TEAM

 X-Hockey Alumni Ted Purcell has been named to the American Hockey League’s All-Rookie Team and to the league's First All-Star team..

The Manchester Monarchs forward is currently sitting fourth in the league scoring with 22 goals and 55 assists over 63 games. He was named the AHL’s Rookie of the Month for November and was the MVP of the All-Star game in January as he had a hat trick and a goal in the shootout in Canada’s 9-8 win over PlanetUSA.

He received a call to the Los Angeles Kings on January 15th and has one goal and two assists over 10 NHL games.
