Pat Barrington was born on July 16th, 1978 in St. John’s, NL. Barrington is one of three family members to work with Xtreme; brother’s John and Gerard also work with the program.
Pat’s hockey career was a promising one. After minor hockey, Pat ventured to Peterborough, Ontario to play for the Petes (OHL). Pat played two seasons “on the mainland”, split between the OHL and the Lindsey Muskies of the OPJHL. Very few players left the island during Pat’s playing days, which was a testament to his skill, and determination.
Pat now resides in St. John’s with his wife and two children, who both participate in Xtreme Hockey. Pat is often seen on the ice, and does a lot of work behind the scenes as an Xtreme League co-ordinator. Xtreme Hockey is very fortunate to have Pat as a team member!
